Hello,

It is today the 23 of May. The 13th and 14th of May I went to a leadership conference in Antigonish. This leadership conference is learning about the universities in Nova Scotia. And learn about, how it is to be an international student at the university. We stayed at the university from St. Francis Xavier University. Recognized as one of the finest schools in Canada.
The X-Ring is something special at that school.
They get this ring after they graduating. The X-Ring is said to be, after Super Bowl and Papal rings, the third most recognized ring in the world. It's a permanent reminder of the StFX experience and its lasting solidarity. That's a little bit information about the university.
At the leadership conference, we were with 52 international students. We listened to presentations, played games, meeting new people,....
We slept at the residence from the school. You live like a student at the university for two days.
It was an other great experience.

The 18th of May I watched with Blandine, Stella, Giulia, Eleanor, Jenna and Olivia Eurovision. We connected the laptop into the TV and watched it on the big screen. It was nice to watch with it people from different countries.

Today at 7pm there was a coffee house at the school. Students from the school are performing and presenting things. Like songs, poetry,...
If you wish to participate, you can sign up. My friend Blandine from France performed. She sang the song "Little Talks" from Monsters and Men. We filmed it, it probably will come on Facebook. She did a great job!

Now I will show you some pictures that I took.

Greetings Zoë

In the morning we went canoeing on the lake. But the weather wasn't that great, there was a lot of fog. It looked like on a film set. In the afternoon Blandine and me did something crazy. Tomorrow I will let you know what we did, and will show you the pictures.
We had a great time!

Hello,

It's today the 9th of May! Last blog message I said I was going to post a recipe and more photos.
Sometimes I have no sense of time, can not believe it's been ten days later.
May 2, 3 and 4 I went to drama festival. It was an amazing experience, three full days of drama.
We were with 13 students of Halifax West High School. And 22 other schools were involved too.
Around 200 people were involved. In the morning we had a master class, that was with everybody together. Except the third day, then we watched a show "Title of Show".
The first master class was improv. There was an improv team (Canadian Improv Games) that taught us the skills about improve.
The second master class was comedy. A famous comedian, forgot his name. And he taught us the skills of comedy.
In the afternoon, we had the course that we chose. I was in three day acting, my group was about 18 people. The other courses were stage combat, play writing, musical, stage lightening,......
Each class was teached by profesional people. Our teacher was Martha Irving. If you search on the internet you will find a lot of stuff about her. Acting is her job, she is doing this 36 years.
It was great to work with her, and made it clear again, that I enjoy acting. That was an other great experience!

The week before drama festival, suddenly had a lot of pain in my mouth. My tonsil on the right side was swollen. but the pain got worse, and realized that it was my wisdom tooth. We decided to go to the dentist. They took a picture, and they saw that my wisdom teeth is against my jawbone. Between my wisdom teeth and jawbone is an infection. They prescribed the medication, and the medication will take the pain away. It feels much better now.
In connection with this something funny happened today. I went down town to my Circus School. Before that I went in a shop, saw a basket of buttons with nice pictures and text. One had the text wisdom teeth on it, so I bought it. This button will always make me think back to my wisdom tooth. I will show you a picture of this button.

Tomorrow I will post the recipe!
Under this blog message you will find some pictures.
