Today it is the 30th of March, tomorrow is it Easter. Happy Easter everyone!
On Good friday I had no school and monday I have also no school.
At my school they organize a lot of things. Wednesday we had twin day. A lot of people came to school dressed like an other person. At school I have a friend that have a twin sister. But they forgot  that it was twin day. And during lunch they had a competition who the best twin was.
And thursday it was formal day. If you came to school with formal clothes than you'll get at lunch time free food. Was amazed how many people participated. I Like the fact that they organize so many things, on this way you learn to know each other.

Yesterday I went on a day trip with my host family. We went to Chester, Lunenburg, Bridgewater.
My host sister Giulia hadn't seen these places, I did. But In an other season. Those places are wonderful and stay special. We had supper in Lunenburg. At a restaurant with a view on the ocean. I ate fish and chips, delicious!
Today I had my skype record, 4 hours! I skyped with five friends, Lisa, Sylvie, Lucke, Laura, Annelies. It was really nice to see them back. After a while it felt like we were sitting in the same room. Skype is a great invention!

Today is the 23th of March. This week we had a short school week.
Because Wednesday we had a snow day and school was cancelled. The evening before you know, if it will be a snow day. You see it in the morning on the school site. My host mother looked in the morning if there was school but no. She put a sign on the door from the washroom to say that we could sleep.

Friday After school, Blandine came home with me and Giulia. And she stayed over night.
Before supper we went to the lake behind our house. To relax, sing and play some music. We took a bunch of pictures. The weather was very good, cold but sunny. It was a nice evening and before you notice it is really late.
Today we cooked whole day because in the evening we had a birthday party from Heather a friend from my host family. The food was so good! It were all pies.

Today is the 19th of March. Easter is coming. Last week I had march break.
Tomorrow and Thursday they are expecting a snow storm, with a lot of wind. My host family bought a new table and storage cabinet for in the living room. It looks like that it came from wonderland.
I really like it.

Today is the 11th of march. Tuesday the 5th of march something special happened in the evening.
About a week ago a friend called me to tell that I was on the principal's list. I didn't know what that meant. It means the courses you had in the first semester, and you count all the points and the average in the ninety percent. I was surprised because I had never expected. It was an honor to get that.
It was a nice evening I went with my host family to this evening. To suprise me, my host family invited a friend. That was very nice! At the presentation were some other friends who were also on the list.

Wednesday the 6th of march, after school we had an activity with the international students from Halifax West High School and ambassadors. We cooked a meal all with different dishes from each country. We had some Belgium fries (no French fries ;)), pasta, poutine, crepes,.......
Nice to have different ingredients and flavors to taste.

The hockey game was the 24th of february, the date of the art event was in my head.

Hello,
Today is the 5th of february. Yesterday it was the 4 of february, I've been here six months!
On my last blog message I told you that I gonna show you the pictures from the hockey game where I went to. That was an activity from the International Student Program. It took place the 26th and 27th of February. It was the Halifax Mooseheads against the Titans. The Halifax Mooseheads are a really famous hockey team here in Nova Scotia. They won with 11 points. And the titans had only 3 points.
Hockey is here really popular and in Europe is mostly soccer really popular.
